Playtime

This has been the week to explore and play. I have wandered around in some of the image generators and experimented a little. Lots of fun but I wonder if I would ever use them. I will spend a little more time here before I go on to something new.

Blogging about technology

The assignment is to post to the blog about technology. I am always amazed by new technology and mostly by how fast things change. I hope that the information I am learning (or trying to learn) will help me help patrons in the library. I just feel as if people come in here to use a blog or post a picture to Flickr, they probably won't need any help from me. But I am learning about lots of new and interesting things. Maybe just being aware of them is going to be helpful. I want to spend much more of my time on things that interest me as something I might use myself like RSS feeds, or things like the online applications that I am sure will help me help someone else.
